Setting Up, Submitting, & Starting a Roleplay
Before you get to this point, make sure to read the Roleplay Rules. If you are unfamiliar with roleplay, especially how it's done on this forum, check out the Roleplay Tutorial and the Avatar Tutorial. You will also need at least one partner, of course, and if you don't have one yet and need help getting one, head over to the Wanted Ads subboard.
Now, to set up a thread to roleplay within, make a thread within this main board and fill out the following in the beginning post. All optional parts of the form are noted within the form. All that's not noted as optional is mandatory. You can code and set up your beginning post however you want, it just needs to contain the mandatory parts that the code dictates. You can go beyond the mandatory, but not less than the mandatory (as per definition of mandatory).[b]Image header for Roleplay (OPTIONAL) (cannot be wider than 600px and taller than 300px):[/b]
[b]Title of Roleplay (this can just be in the subject of the roleplay):[/b]
[b]Roleplay Rating (and general reasoning for):[/b]
[b]Plot Description (can be vague - this is an intro):[/b]
[b]Names of Characters Played by Members:[/b]
[b]Characters' Avatars (must be no bigger than 200x200)[/b]
[b]Avatar URLs (do not hyperlink, just put down URLs)[/b]
[b]Character pictures (OPTIONAL) (cannot be wider or taller than 600 px)[/b]
[b]Played By (include names of members and hyperlink to profiles):[/b]
After the introductory post, you must post and include the following profile for each of the characters played by a member. These profiles can all be lumped together in one post after the introductory post, a part of the introductory post, many posts with a post per profile, etc. However you wish to display it is good, as long as all the profiles are in the roleplay thread.
Once again, you can have this information displayed as you want, as long as you include the mandatory information. You can have auxillary information and images.[b]Name:[/b]

After all of these forms are filled out and your thread is made and posted in the main Roleplay board, a staff member will go through and make sure all has been done correctly and thoroughly. If so, your thread will be moved into the corresponding subboard, the avatars added, and you will be notified by PM that you can begin posting. If not, your thread title will be edited to say "INCOMPLETE" and each of the members participating in the roleplay will be notified by PM to fix the problems.
Staff will update the roleplays at least once a week. If your RP has been sitting around finished for more than a week without a notification from a staff member, you can then PM the admin account.
