Hey all;
My name is Megan, and also Jo, and a great number of other things, but for simplicity's sake I went with Jo this time around.
I'm in college at the moment, studying theatre. I was going to get a degree in writing as well, but I changed my mind when I realized that structured writing has never really suited me, and probably never will. I'm definitely more free for all, see what happens next, spontaneous, etc. I've been an avid novelist for some time. and somewhere along the line branched out into poetry, short stories, and fairly recently have been trying my hand at lyrics, although I have no talent for writing music and very little for singing, but I verily enjoy both.
Erm, what else can I say? I've been a proboards Roleplayer for many years, but I've been rather inactive lately. I am joining much much too late at night because I had a random emotional strike which usually leads to some of my favorite poetry writing (A little masochistic? Or some other kind of messed up? Probably), and I was interested in meeting a group of other people (on the internet of course - safer that way) who were similar in their writing passion... stuff.
My dream is to open up a theatre someday for kids in disadvantaged areas so they can experience the same kind of growth and joy that I did when I joined the theatre, with the ability to host poetry slams and show original plays. I'd also like to be the kind of famous JK Rowling is with my novels so I could afford that dream. But I'm not holding my breath.
So, that's me in a nutshell. There are many many other parts of me, of course, and feel free to ask whatever you'd like, and I'll choose to answer or not as best I can!
