Yeah, so...um...I realize the paradoxical title and reason for this thread.
Optional Explanation:
I'd love to have the Most Forgettable Name of All TimeTM, but I will also settle for a name that does not feel right.
She doesn't get much screen time, and I don't want her to. She is mostly created for symbolism. She's a direct foil to the lady MC I have, in that she's insensitive, detail-oriented, and results-oriented rather than empathetic, big-picture thinker, and cares more about the journey than the end.
Any and all suggestions welcome
Optional Explanation:
{Spoiler!}Here's the deal: I am not the best at coming up with names. (Re: I have named the same character Elvis and Woody in a zombie apocalypse when given free reign.) I am writing a series with two MCs. One MC makes a decision (which the reader chooses one of two options three times), and we see how it mostly affects the other MC.
Currently, I have the True storyline--the total original one, where everything is how it was supposed to be--and the False storyline--where if the reader chooses the exact opposite of what I did, they get the alternative. I am working on the False storyline for NaNo.
My purpose for the False storyline is to mostly use intuition and feelings to show readers that this wasn't the right choice. However, this also creates more characters. What I'd like to do is give the feeling that these people aren't supposed to be in my MC's lives without ever saying it. (All of this may backfire and not at all give the feeling I want, but oh well. I can try.) To achieve this, I'm creating some traits that are slightly off. To go with this, I want names that do, as well.
