Welcome, Welcome!
We see you there, wanderer: you poet, you writer, you artist. Please, stop and stay a while. Speak freely and be heard. Accept and be accepted. Share your craft with people who share your passion. Dare to dream and dare to live, because not all those who wander are lost.

FAQs
What are member groups?
Member groups are our replacement for rankings. Instead of post count being what dominates where you're placed, your interests do in this case.
How do I get placed in a member group?
You may put yourself in a member group by editing your profile (the Groups tab), or you can either mention what group you'd like to be a part of in your introductory thread, or you can message Ange, Aly or the Admin account what group you'd like to be placed in.
Can I change my member group later?
That's fine! You can change your group as often as you'd like. But please do understand that if you aren't doing it yourself, Staff is doing this by hand, so changing your mind five times a day might not be the most effective way to go about this. Try to pick the one that you like the most.
Ack! I can't decide what to pick!
Pick whatever applies to you most. If too many apply to you, just pick one where you like the color best. Like mentioned above, you can always change your group!
What happens if I never pick a group?
Then you're stuck with the ugly default star

Vagabond
A vagabond is someone who wanders, but notably without a home. If you are a vagabond, no particular art form or mode of thought ever truly sits you into a niche. Vagabonds constantly explore ways of living and locations and find themselves not at home in any particular art form or mode of thought, but bond with particular elements of all. In a way, they are a Jack of All Trades.
Cosmonaut
A cosmonaut is someone who may or may not enjoy art, but finds true fascination and happiness roaming the realms of science (but that does not necessarily make them empiricists). If they make art, it will often contain references to mathematics or patterns in nature that have to do with science, like fractals.
Troubadour
Troubadours get caught up with the beauty inside words and expression. Because of this, they are entranced and driven by poetry, loving rhythm and fanciful nature in all things. They are also particularly swooned by music when it hits the right chord in the heart.
Laureate
Laureates are driven to write and write and write. Stories are their mode of understanding and they wish to live forever in order to read all the books ever made. Writing isn't just a hobby for them, it is akin to breathing.
Vogue
Vogues are swept up by the magical nature of vision and visual art. They value fashion, photography, painting, and other ways to frame and expose the world's glory in the best combination of colors and styles and shadows. If Vogues could save only one sense, it would be sight.
Dreamer
Dreamers aren't really "here." They can enjoy all arts, all sciences - everything works for them. They are not vagabonds because they find home within themselves: thus home is everywhere. They are constantly imagining, drifting off. They are hard to beat down because they believe so strongly in the majesty of everything. However, with their dreaming, they can often get carried off, which can become dangerous.
Thinker
Thinkers are like dreamers, but with an important difference: they are quite present. Art, science, philosophy, they find themselves constantly analyzing all of it. They can't turn their brains off. Their nose is to the grindstone but it's much more like a cloud to them. They love to think, they love to discuss, and they love to try and figure out what truth is in all of its facets.
