Here at Wander, we have a set of Rights that every person is entitled to. It is the staff's job to maintain that these rights are always being followed.[/b] Since everyone at Wander has the right to respect, this also means you cannot disrespect anyone. There is such a thing as providing your opinion and then there are personal attacks. If you are unsure whether or not what you want to say is disrespectful, contact a staff member and we will help.
1) You have a Right to Respect. Everyone here is to enjoy the ability to exercise your creative freedoms by maintaining a hate-free, welcoming site reinforced with acceptance of all beliefs, genders, sexualities, ethnicities, races, backgrounds, cultures, and so forth.
II. This right also means that everyone needs to feel safe at Wander. Any personal attacks violate a person's Right of Respect and, thus, their Right to Safety. This includes protecting your fellow people from triggers, intolerance, hatred, and oppression (like hate speech).[/ul]
2) You have a Right to Expression. We will never censor you here, so long as the content does not interfere with any person's Rights.
3) You have a Right to a Democracy. You have a say in what happens to this forum, including and not limited to large future changes. You also have a right to direct your feelings toward Staff to ensure your rights are being exercised and executed fairly, appropriately and in a timely manner.
4) You have a Right to Copyrights. All your work is your own, and it always will be.
If you feel as if someone has violated any of your rights, immediately contact a staff member.
In addition to the rights, Wander's position as a Proboards Forum requires us to follow the Terms of Service of Proboards. There is always a link to this at the bottom of the forum (as well as will also always be linked to here) and you are expected to know and abide to these terms. If you violate these rules, the staff will handle it as per the rules of Wander or Proboards as dictated.
If you have any questions at all reguarding these Rights, feel free to either message a Staff member or post here! We'll be happy to clarify things for you.
