How to Work Wanted Ads
Looking for (a) partner(s) to create an exciting roleplay with? You've come to the right place.
There are two ways for you to start the search for (a) partner(s).
The first is to reply to a main thread with your wanted ad. The second is to make a thread all of your own as your wanted as.
The first option requires you to simply reply to this thread with the code given. You would use this first option if you do not have any idea of the sort of plot you want to do, any characters, anything really, but you have a craving to write a roleplay and maybe some specifics like genre. You want to develop characters and a plot, etc, with your partner from scratch.
The second option is to make a thread. In this thread, you would detail any basic plot ideas you have in mind. Any characters you want to use, a playby or face claim that you MUST use, any facet of an RP you want in your upcoming roleplay. In this, you'll also need to mention whether or not you want one partner or more, or if you're up for whatever comes your way. If you have no specific parts of the RP already planned or specific qualities you want in a partner, please use the first option.
When you create a thread for your Wanted Ad, title it in a way to lure people you want to visit it. For example "Fantasy RPer Wanted" or "Person With Girl Character Desires Partner That Plays a Boy" etc.
For the second option, here is a basic format to help you out. You don't have to use it, but it may help you if you're unsure how to write it all out or what to call what your ideas are. You can use parts of it, none of it, or all of it - up to you.
You MUST mention how many partners you want for your RP or if you're good with how many show up. This is to keep from things getting awkward.[b]Your Name:[/b]

[b]How often do you want your partner(s) to post during a week?:[/b]
[b]Do you have a character picked out already? If so, write about him/her/it here:[/b]

[b]Do you have a plot picked out already, or at least pieces of it? If so, write about it here:[/b]
[b]Miscellaneous other ideas you have you want to use for the idea. This can include themes, locations, general ideas (time travel, horses, mafia, etc), and whatever else you have remaining to talk about.[/b]
[b]How long do you want the posts to be?:[/b]
[b]What gender are you most comfortable with playing?:[/b]
[b]How old do you want the characters to be?:[/b]
[b]What qualities do you want your partner(s) to possess?:[/b]
[b]Where (MSN/PM/email/etc) or how do you want to discuss the RP?:[/b]
[b]How do you want people to reply to your Wanted Ad? Reply to this thread, e-mail you, PM you, etc?:[/b]
If there's a code you want your partners to fill out when they reply to your thread or PM you or email you or etc, put that in your thread.
