Reality Shift
As you know I’m relatively new to Wander. So in order to ‘get the ball rolling’ I’m going to try set up a Role-Play with someone. It won’t be dead serious, more for fun and practise really, where there isn’t anything really set in stone. Kind of like a free-for-all within reason of course. Just so you know I would rather whoever decides to RP with me take the lead because it will help me kick-start my imagination. Hopefully you’re still with me?
Of all the genres I am most comfortable with fantasy, super-natural and romance though that’s not to say I’m limiting the role-play to just those three. Like most people I know, it’s typically werewolves, vampires, shape-shifters and ghosts, the real kinds. Not the sparkly over modernised twilight abominations (I apologize if you enjoyed the concept). I must say I enjoy writing violence and gore though I might not be too good at it I certainly have fun with it. So Action can be put on the list as well. Originality is what I’m searching for in the end.
From Monday to Sunday I can post most weekends and maybe once during the work week, so around two to three times a week. Although depending on my work load it might be as little as one. As for whoever wants to join me, just match me really. I’m not overly fussed with how long, as long as it’s not over a week waiting without a word. If that does happen a simple PM will suffice, this will work both ways.
As for the lengths of posts, anything more than two paragraphs is fine, enough to write a decent reply post. I’d like to have lots of description though it isn’t mandatory. For example instead of saying: ‘she was wearing a red dress.’ try instead: ‘She was wearing a knee-length strapless cherry red dress that flared out from her hips.’ (I’m certainly a stickler for descriptions.) This is all what I’d like but it isn’t mandatory.
Character portrayal is certainly important. I’ve only ever played a female my age (eighteen) or younger, rarely ever over and no more than mid 20’s cause I’d rather know how the character acts if I myself can relate. I find it strikingly easier. I’m more than happy to write as a guy, in fact I can kind of encourage it considering my aim is practise. If we are going to be using face claims, I prefer real over anime characters simply because they are more believable. But I'm quite flexible with characters.
In a RP Partner I would like them to be chipper and flexible. I’d like them to have decent grammar and punctuation. In addition come up with quirky twists and imaginative situations and keep things interesting. And probably the most important: have fun. No one wants to take part in an RP that isn’t fun and enjoyable.

Oh an a little while back, over a year I think, I wanted to start various RP’s with people though they weren’t very present most of the time. One was a sucker-punch kingdom hearts cross over (it’s hard to explain but it sounds really cool) and one that is set in an post-apocalyptic world where shifters are kept as pets, slaves and forced to fight in underground fights similar to the illegal dog fights (it’s an idea for a story I have and I need a little help writing it). If either of these sound good let me know!
